Firefox browser

You might already know that the Firefox browser has passed the 10 million download mark and is now the main competitor for ie (microsoft's explorer)

I've been playing around with it and the Mozilla desktop suite and can recommend them both without hesitation.

Mozilla is the direct competitor to ie - with a mail feature, a browser, chat and html editor. Firefox is a stripped down browser - you won't do email with it (heck, I still use Eudora anyway cause I hate all the virus that are aimed at outlook) but what you'll do is blazing speed on the net from site to site. Stripped down of all the other baggage, it flies along.

As I said, I recommend it highly - find it (and mozilla) at http://www.mozilla.org/ You can attach other baggage to it as you like from the firefox download site including things like media players, real sound players, rss feeds etc etc. Your choice.

But I like the speed.
