Re: Landscaping Books

Hello Lynn,
You had the title correct. Natural Landscaping. Gardening with Nature to Create a Backyard Paradise. Rodale  was the publisher. One of my favorites I also like Wildflowers in your Garden: A Gardener's Guide by Viki Ferreniea. Finally, I keep a copy of A Gardener's Encyclopedia of Wild Flowers by Colston Burrell. Those titles remain on the shelf were they are handy for they best reflect what I am up to in my gardens and the nursery inventory.
One goes through quite a few books to end up with the "keepers" on the shelf within arm's reach.

One of my favorite's is Sally Roth's Natural Landscaping (?) I think there's more to the title, but I've loaned it to a friend, so I'm not sure.  It was one of the first I read that encouraged creating a more natural (read "wild" ) landscape, with an emphasis on gardening for wildlife.
Her more recent bird and butterfly books are fabulous, too, but not really landscape, as such.
Lynn
