Looking for short articles/promote yourself

I am looking for short plugs from businesses that specialize in rare,
tropical and exotic plants, seeds or other supplies. This is something you
would have written about your business or a specific product that you offer
that would be of interest to people looking for rare, tropical or exotic
plants. 
The rare plants do not have to be tropical in nature they just have to be
rare or collector plants.
I am also looking for short plugs on different plant societies. This would
be another piece you would send already written.
Photos can be sent as well with either piece. 
I will not be paying for articles or photos. These two types of articles are
meant to be plugs for your business or society but please make them
informative. I do not want pure advertisements.
The articles will go into my Tropical, Exotics and Rare Plants Magazine. My
second issue is due out on January 1. I do request that articles be at least
250 words but they can be longer.
If anyone has an article that deals with these subjects I would also be
happy to publish it with full credit, a bio and a link to whatever site you
choose.

I am also looking for more links for my website. As some of you know my
server crashed several months back and I have been trying to rebuild my
site. Some of the links were lost so even if you did put one up before you
