Re: Scanners
About three years ago I turned to your collective wisdom for help in
selecting a digital camera. You didn't let me down -- I heard from several of you,
took your advice, and have been delighted with the equipment you recommended.
Now I have another equipment question: Scanners
I have about 1,000 photographs to scan: black and white, color, and some
slides, some of them going back almost a century. I do not yet have a scanner and
would welcome advice on which one or ones are fast (or as fast as possible),
good, and reasonably easy to work. Obviously, this job is going to take a long
time, and good equipment would make it so much easier! Because of the size of
the job and the time it will take, I'm willing to pay more if that is
necessary to get the right piece of equipment.
Thanks everybody!
Lina Burton
