Re: RHS Color chart/Pantone

The pantone method is good if your photos will be published. A good hort
photog I know, Alan Detrick, shoots one exposure of a pantone card with the
flower he is shooting then uses it for reference when color balancing his
digital file. Then you can open the reference file and use the color picker
in Photoshop to get the color formula off the card in the scene. Some seed
companies are including pantone colors in their wholesale catalogs. So don't
count pantone out - it works in the world of printing presses and can work
in the garden too.
