Washington Gardener Photo Contest

Although this notice is a bit borderline for our group's list, I thought I'd 
pass it on to fellow Garden Writers as I know so many writers who are also 
photographers -- whether out of necessity, preference, or passion.

Note that the photographer does not have to be a DC-area resident themselves, 
only that the photo must have been taken here and in the year 2006.

Are there other garden photo contests? If so, I'd love to hear more about 
them. So far all I can find are those like Smithsonian, Audubon, Birds & Blooms, 
and Nature's Best Photography. None of which are garden-centric, rather much 
more on the wildlife in the gardens or public lands.

newspapers. Enter the Washington Gardener Photo Contest and have a chance of getting

This contest offers an opportunity for all photographers to present their

More than $500 in prizes will be awarded!

The first annual Washington Gardener Photo Contest will commence at midnight 
tonight and entries will be accepted until midnight on January 21.
