Re: preserving veggies


My favorite fresh snap bean is Contender, but I don't like them 
canned or frozen.  Slenderette is nearly as good, but flavor is still 
good after freezing or canning.  It's just a subjective opinion.  If 
the world is going to oil-less hell in a  handbasket, perhaps people 
ought to look into dehydration, too. Margaret Lauterbach
