Alabama gardens

Other than Bellingrath in Mobile, anybody know of great gardens or
garden-related types of areas within an hour to two hours of Mobile.  I'm
looking for a  few things to do when I'm in the South next month - a few
stories to cover for more northerly readers.  I will revisit this great
garden to be sure.

I've contacted Alabama tourism to see if they have any suggestions - others?
