Spam on Blogs
I'm seeing a LOT more spam on gardening blogs lately - these are
human-submitted and are getting through your spam filters because of it.
They are however clearly spam - although they don't look like it on the
surface. I wrote an article on it here
http://edit-the-net.com/spam-linksthat I would suggest you check out
for the 4 warning signs. And then go
through your comments. And before you think it really doesn't matter -
please understand that your Google ranking (and hence traffic) is partially
determined by the nature of your outgoing links and every time you allow one
of these links to exist on your site, you're losing Google brownie-points.
Google doesn't penalize you for the nature of your incoming links - but it
does for the nature of your outgoing links.
