Re: How do you fill your beds?


We have similar challenges here in north Texas where soils are either  
heavy clay or red sand. Our answer to both is lots of organic matter.  
I have a large compost pile I use regularly. Commercially my favorite  
is Back to Earth's composted cotton bur mulch. Works great for azaleas  
too.
