Those cute little hats with headlamps

I had to laugh when Sheri Ann Richerson mentioned these hats. Just last night I was out planting bulbs, using the cute little hat with headlamps that my husband got me for Christmas last year. (I think he intended it for me to use going down some dark stairs in our 100-year-old house.) 

It gets dark early up here on the north shore of Lake Ontario, and I'm running behind in my fall gardening bec it rained all October and November. Also had the patio lights on, so the neighbours must have wondered what the crazy lady was doing out there digging in the dark. And the cold.

Hat worked real well, BTW. If you want to join the after-dark gardening club, you can find the hats at LL Bean, among other places.
