Re: Free e-books

Thanks, James. Today there's a free ebook on marketing your book on that fkb.me site you just mentioned, and the advice seems good. I just got a copy.

A few weeks ago I put up a free copy of my new ebook of Nellie Neal's "Questions and Answers for Deep South Gardeners, Second Edition" as a promotion for a couple of days. Nellie and I had hundreds of takers. After the free period was over there were just a couple of sales of the ebook and the softcover, and I can't tell whether or not they were related to the promotion. We were hoping for some new reviews but didn't get any. It was fun, though, seeing the book rise to the top of the regional book category in "sales."
