Thanks for all the kind messages and compliments, on and off the list.
I am basking in a feeling of having helped give people a little push to dare to do something hard, like writing a book, and succeeding with it.
Many talented people fear failure and do not try things that they are well prepared to do. For whatever reason, I have always been brave about this. It does not always work out, but often enough, it does.
I got into computers and word processing long ago because I'm a bad typist and hated retyping and correcting typos in manuscripts. And, remember carbon paper and mimeograph machines?
