RE: New Rant Expanded


This is rather late in the discussion now, but if one can enjoy a <rant>, I
did want to say that I enjoyed Jeff's tirade.  He makes a good point and
offers accurate examples.
At the same time, there are some techniques that do translate well from
commercial agriculture and can be valuable to the home grower.  I'm
thinking now of row covers, mini-tunnels, plug trays, and foliar feeding as
examples in my garden.
There are instances when it pays to emulate the pros in our backyards.
