photos for magazine articles
Hi, I am writing an 1,000 word article on groundcovers for a mid-atlantic regional magazine and the editor wants me to also locate sources of photos. I mentioned that there are professional horticultural photographers but he seems to be on a budget. Can you suggest any sources for photos of ground covers or any sources for plants in general because I am finding that some editors do not know where to look to illustrate an article so they are reluctant to accept the article. Have any of you had that experience? Do you ask to be paid to locate sources of photos or does that just go along with the job of writing the article?
