Barbara Barton is working on a new edition of Gardening by Mail. The last
one, I believe, was the fifth, published in 1997. This is a marvelous
reference tool, indispensable, I'd say (I said so in my article Tools for the
Mind in the newest BBG Handbook on Tools). Gardening by Mail contains a lot
of information about nurseries which you can find alphabetically by name or
indexed by plant category. There's the rub: you can't get to the plant source
by individual plant name.
