Lon, apparently it is a limited liability holding company that owns the following : Brecks Bulbs, Gurneys, Henry Fields, Michigan Bulb, Spring Hill, Audobon Workshop, MySeasons, and Flower of the Month club.  I am not sure when they were bought or how it came to be, but there has been a lot of bankruptcy and reorganization for a while within the plant and tree sale companies.  Do a google search on Garden Watchdog and check out the comments for yourself.
