PAR and Garden Shows

Congratulations to Rose Marie Nichols-McGee, Pat Munts,  Ed Hume and others
who worked so hard the PAR display garden.  They will be sharing their
wisdom later, I'm sure.

My message is about the upcoming garden show season.  I'll be doing my first
of the year next weekend in Mt. Vernon, IL, and it reminds me to ask other
GWL list members to help. If you are doing a lecture, demonstation and/or
slide show at any garden show, please talk about Plant a Row.  I always have
some brochures at a table near the door, and I hold up the brochure and
other visuals.  Also, I've incorporated a couple slides of PAR activities in
my slide shows.

Please tell your audiences that PAR is easy to do and has great impact on
the hunger problem in the US and Canada.  If you want some talking points,
