First of all, Melanie, congratulations on having so many of your slides accepted for publication in a single book! You must feel on top of the world!
Regarding your ideas for the Children's Garden at shows,
"I would love to see somebody from the Garden Writers Association come and run a book signing corner (perhaps some big overstuffed armchairs) and possible a Plant A Row exhibit. Since this is an annual show, perhaps somebody would step up to the plate for next year if not this one?"
Why limit it to book signing, that would require that the authors get to that location. Why not make it a story hour that could have various people reading appropriate children's books?
Mary Appelhof
Who would be delighted to read "Compost, By Gosh! An adventure in Vermicomposting " by Michele Portman at such an event.
