I've been taking pictures and doing lectures with gardens from both
England and Scotland for about 20 years and never had a problem. The only
time restrictions arose (last trip was Scotland in 2003) were inside stately
homes where the Trust or private owners worry about pictures taken that
reveal security alarms, windows that could be opened, fire escapes, etc.,
restrictions that are completely understandable. P.L.

Its it not the TAKING of pictures that they object to. It is the
reproduction and use in a commercial or professional way. Non National Trust images of
the grounds are not permitted.
