A grassy valentine
The diversity of horticulture continues to inspire...suffer another "botanical" valentine.
Turf's up!!! Oh, Sod!!! I can't cut it no mow without you. Chiggers!!! I am already reduced to tiers. I can't take mulch more. Sow, what's a poor soil like me to do? Lawn order be damned. Seed how clover I can bee. Limey! Get reel - and cut a wide swath with me!
Bee my (organic/carbon neutral) valentine.
Grassy replies guaranteed not to irrigate, they are welcome! Even if they drip in.
BTW, you can read some of the earlier 'tines in GreenPrints #68 Winter 2007 pp40-41 "Botanical Valentines: Why not express your heart horticulturally?" - and it's illustrated, too!
Happy Valentine's Day,
Sally

If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant.
