Re: 2008 GWA symposium
If my memory serves me right, and that would be rare, the last GWA symposium
in Portland was about 20 years ago. Or was it the PPA meeting? In any
event it's a wonderful place for gardeners and writers. Wonder if the far west
trade show is then or earlier? We took an Amtrak train up the Columbia river
to Hood River Junction then a switch back train up Mount Hood where there are
incredible pear and apple orchards. Of course the train back to Portland
was six hours late so we got to watch lots of wind surfing on the Columbia that
was pretty spectacular.
