    There was a wonderful rose garden that I stumbled across when I was walking to Fenway Park in Boston about 10 years ago. I'm sorry I can't give you any more info, but I'm sure a local could. It was in full bloom (early June) with arches of climbing roses interspersed with shrub roses, it was magnificent.
    It was a public garden, but closed when I was there so I had to peek through the fence. (sigh)

  Oops, I've done it again.... agreed to write about, and photograph, gardens for another book in the "Garden Lover's" series.  The second, "A Garden Lover's Martha's Vineyard" will be out in June and the publisher (Commonwealth Editions) wants me to do Boston for the third in the series.  I'm about the sign the contract to deliver the book in 2009.

  SO - any suggestions about people I should contact or gardens that I MUST see?  Yes, I've already sent an email to GWA member Hilda Morill, who has the website bostongardens.com.  But other suggestions would be very welcome and appreciated.
