phpBB hacked

If you're running a phpBB bulletin board (one of the more popular open
source forum software packages) you should know that the phpBB website was
hacked yesterday in a major way. All the usernames/passwords used on that
site were downloaded.  This means if you have ever signed into phpBB for
support or download, your data has been hacked. This means your
username/password is compromised.   *If* you've downloaded or registered
with the main site* and  used a common username/password combination, I'd
suggest you start changing usernames/passwords on your other sites where
you've used the same combination.
It would seem the phpBB software itself hasn't been compromised so your
forums are fine (if you're running a forum or a member of a forum ) so the
only potential problem is if you've downloaded or registered on phpBB
itself.
