Re: Sell your books on your website?

I guess I should have asked one more question about selling books from your website: WHY do you either sell them yourselves or link people to Amazon? Obviously, you earn less through Amazon, but it's effortless. Doing it yourself, you need to get the books from your publisher, buy mailers, purchase postage, maybe take them to the P.O. But you do have the personal contact, which is nice. I'm kinda wondering if that matters most with newer books, rather than backlist. Or maybe it's just dollars and cents all the way, no intangibles.Thanks.Judy Lowe

our latest books. We also have separate websites where we sell our own
inscribed
books and ship from home. Unfortunately, shipping isn't such a huge job.
