I get paid when speaking at garden clubs. At the beginning of the year, I 
decide how many free talks I will give...it's sort of first come first 
servce, although I try to give my presentations free to groups or 
organizations that I want to support, like a community group. I also get paid 
when speaking at the public libraries, workshops, festivals, etc.
