Ah, you're right--they are two different animals. Sorry for the digression. However, I bet that  a greenhouse supplier could probably source the first type as well. Secondly, I can see why customer acceptance of the type I am talking about would be low, particularly if the bags were to be a substitute for pots when people were buying plants. You have to take some care when moving them around, or you'll dislodge roots. But if you are the end-user and can put them in a permanent place before planting them, they can work quite well. They are way less expensive than pots, allow a closer spacing on the bench, and are easy to dump at the end of the season.
