Since newer members might be surprised at the sheer volume of mail the GWL
can produce at times, here are some ways to help you out.

FOR ALTERNATE WAYS TO INTERACT WITH THE GWL, go to
http://www.topica.com/lists/Gardenwriters and
register.  
You are NOT registered if you just sent in the "Subscribe" letter.
Once you are registered, you are able to go to "My Topica", select "GWL",
look for
 the "Read" option on their GWL options page and select how you want to
receive the list - as regular e-mail (the default setting, which you get
automatically unless you change it), in digest form (25 letters at a time,
condensed to just the basic thread) or select "Using Topica Web Site Only -
No  Email" and you can then read letters at the web site and reply from
there, only. 

Pass the word to garden writers, editors publishers, horticultural businesses about our list.
