On the other hand, if you aren't starving it's not a bad place to debut
as a serious garden writer when it comes to reputation, true? It seems
they have a reputation for high quality books that stay in print for a
long time - many of them become classics.
The book they have in mind is not one I'd have thought of writing but it
sounds like a lot of fun. I figure it can't hurt as a starter and I'll
enjoy the research. I was only wondering what on earth is in it for my
poor agent!
