Lon,
You're right, the discussion often strays, sometimes annoyingly so.
However, with all due respect, you always seem to find this line crossed
when the discussion turns to worms and gardening. ;)
I think that garden writers and their readers will greatly benefit from the
points and expertise that Mary Appelhof brought to this short thread.
I'm glad that she got the post in under the hatchet.
Topical?  Let's see how many compost tea articles are published in the
coming season, or how many brewers are sold.
It's certainly already been a hot topic in your region.
