One of the best places to purchase your domain name is from www.directnic.com We've had sites online since the beginning of 1996 and did a lot of research on it. Names through them are only $15 and you get free redirects which very few companies are offering (means you can have unlimited domain names going to your site at no charge from your hosting server).
We also host herb/gardening sites and our charge is $50 setup and monthly fee of either $20 for no shopping cart or $25 for shopping cart holding up to 20,000 items. 30 megabytes (additional megabytes $1.00 per meg)
20 Email addresses (POP accounts) with spam protection
unlimited email aliases, webalizer stats software
ASP enabled
We do a lot of hand-holding for those that want to create and/or manage their own sites. We've used a number of servers over the past 6 years to host various sites and this has been by far the best for the money that I'ved used
