RE: [GWL]: rolling the lawn
About 50% of American home landscapes are managed by the woman of the house.
Tell your wife to read what I said and if she still wants to roll the lawn
then so be it. You will always have a lawn in stress.

Hello Jeff,
Curious here.... all the references to men and their behavior in your
advice about lawn rolling. Do you have some figures to quote on males versus
females in lawn care and maintaince? Or, perhaps a bit of male-bashing for
humor and some color? I have three acres of grass to maintain here and I am
the last one to want fertilizers, weed killers, pesticides, lawn rollers or
anything that smacks of more labor for me. My wife, however, is very much
into the appearance of the lawn. She is the one who wants the lawn roller,
everything else on the long list of 'things to do to the lawn". Personally,
I would settle for anything reasonably green.
When this man does his spring thing it certainly is not rolling the
lawn......
