Thank you for your advice. You were right on the mark. The editor will
not budge on this one issue. All else does seem to be negotiable with them.
You advice saves me awkwardness in dealing with him concerning use of my
slides to illustrate the text.
I do appreciate you taking the time to reply at some length with a voice
of more experience.
