I think a lot of nursery owners aren't aware that the so-called sterile strains aren't really sterile and think they are offering a safe alternative. I have evidence that it's not safe - there is a nursery six blocks from here that carried it, and not only have the seeds somehow blown across the highway and taken hold on the local creek, but they keep popping up in my backyard. I went straight to the township commission - but all they did was dig out the stuff growing in the nature preserve. Nothing was said to the nursery owner.

If he carries it again next season I will go to the newspaper.
