Re: Hybrid ornamental millet 'Purple Majesty' invasive?

Several seed catalogs describe it as "easy to grow from seed" so I'd guess it would be invasive unless birds eat every last seed. Margaret Lauterbach

Hybrid ornamental millet 'Purple Majesty' won the AAS Gold Medal award for
2003. According to the plant description, it has 8" to 12" shiny purple
flower spikes "which provide many seeds for the birds". Does this plant have
the potential to become invasive?

I found a lot of promotional info on the web, but not the botanical info I
seek.
