Good day..it seems the zone map we had on our site does not exist anymore and the link goes nowhere...can one of you suggest a good zone map to put in its place for those needing to find their zone?

There are many, Donna, but one good one is at:<http://www.usna.usda.gov/Hardzone/>. This map intro page describes how to use the map. The US map is interactive -- visitors can click on their own state and get detailed info.

Here's a zone map for Europe, which may be of interest: <http://www.uk.gardenweb.com/forums/zones/hze.html>

The new heat zone map published by the American Horticulture Society will be of interest to southern gardeners in particular. A good map can be found on Monrovia's site - they were one of the first of the biggies to adopt the system. You have to be an AHS member to access the map on their site, but it's free (to us) on Monrovia's site:
<http://www.monrovia.com/MonroviaWeb.nsf/8c104835579b67e18825685f006acdf8/f99d2ba9eb2a9ab58825692000737444!OpenDocument> (You may have to copy and paste twice to get it all.) It's free to us because Monrovia has licensed the use of the Heat Zone info, which is copyrighted by the AHS.

I hope this helps.
