Ordinarily I'd call this a frivolous posting, but besides the fact that it's a slow day, I'm icebound here, so I'll chime in with this  URL for those who want to read the strip in question.

And yes, those are legitimate names.


In today's "Beetle Bailey" cartoon, Miss Buxley is admiring the General's
garden, mentioning several plants by their Latin names.  Anybody know if
they got the names right?  I'm just curious, sometimes the research isn't
the best in cartoons.
