The True Cost of Food

I think many of you may be interested in the new, 15 minute movie called The True Cost of Food. It's been produced by the Sierra Club's Sustainable Consumption Committee and offers an explanation of what our food REALLY costs to produce. The focus is on sustainable agriculture, local produce, and small-scale farming as healthy alternatives to mass produced, monoculture food crops; this is an animated film and should appeal to viewers of many ages.

I suspect that as gardeners and writers, you care about how we can better grow food in this country, both from an economic and a health point of view.
