Film scanners?

Since we're talking digital a lot lately, I'm wondering what those of you
who are staying with film use to get your images into a digital format
(for representation on a Web site, etc.).

I've been using the same HP Photosmart film scanner for about seven years
now. It's served me well -- I've scanned close to 10,000 slides with it,
but I'm starting to notice more and more artifacts in my scans, the colors
are off, and it's kind of slow. Usually the scans end up at a fraction of
the slide's original quality, which is really frustrating.

What do you recommend for slide scanning? What do you think of batch
loaders?

Chris
