Re: Hardy Agapanthus


In the new catalog from the invaluable Seneca Hill Perennials there's 
also a hardy agapanthus listed.

Agapanthus campanulatus, old Wayside Gardens clone.....
Zone 5?
H: to 60cm/2ft
Sun, well-drained soil; excellent container plant
This clone was purchased from Wayside Gardens over 30 years ago, and 
is hardy in the open garden in central Illinois. A robust grower, it 
has the typical fairly narrow deciduous foliage and medium-blue, open 
flowers of the species.
