Hello Gardenwriters:
   Perhaps you've heard through the vine of this
change in our garden industry-scape -- Maree Gaetani,
public relations manager for the Burlington,
Vermont-based Gardener's Supply has left that position
to lead the public relations effort at Ben & Jerry's
(from trowels to ice-cream scoops; from national to
international).
   Kudos to her for her many years of supplying
writers like you and me with facts, ideas, test
products and leading many of Gardener's Supply's
donation efforts to nonprofits. You may also remember
Maree as an excellent dancer at GWA conferences and no
slouch at the karioke microphone! Girls just want to
have fun.... (As did her predecessor the great Meg
Smith!)
   That said, perhaps you see this not only as an
opportunity to acknowledge Maree's service to
gardenwriters, but also a moment to check out a job
listing posted in the Burlington Free Press.
