Re: Cuba


As if we can? A good portion of our food comes from Central America  
or beyond, often at the expense of the locals who have no land to  
grow their own food, and I heard on the news this morning that  
they'll have to relax the US immigration law so that there might be  
someone to harvest the food that we do grow here, since not enough of  
us care to do it for ourselves.

If the cubans aren't feeding themselves, who is? When I was there,  
everything I ate was local.
