 I frequently tell my audiences that I believe we could say about composting what we used to say about housework: it expands to meet the time available.  I also tell them to look to how nature gardens: no one is turning, watering, or carefully making carbon and nitrogen layers in the woods. 

I echo all those who have said that their readers/listeners/audiences are not likely to "do it right', whether they are in tuxedos or ball gowns, shorts and a tee shirt or buck naked. Naked Gardening probably has potential for a best seller or a reality TV show, however...
