Regional Garden Gurus Sought
Hi, everyone. Today on GardenRant I've announced the creation of a friendly informal partnership of online garden writers called www.RegionalGardenGurus.com
beginning with Don Engebretson, Ginny Stibolt, Lise Mahnke and myself. Here's the announcement:

Several important and distinctive regions are still unrepresented and as I say on the Rant post, we're hoping that good writers and educators will step up and create some web presence (even using a cheap and easy blog program) that compiles what gardeners in your region need to know. No need to duplicate all the basics - design, pesticides, etc - just cover the particulars of your region. Yes, it would still be time-consuming but a needed public service! And we have no problem with advertising, which might even compensate you for your time, as long as high-quality *content* is still the primary focus.
