Just back from a trip to Malta where I was told by both two botanic  
gardens and the lady who keeps the corner grocery store that curry  
plant - Helychrysum Italicum - is a mosquito repellent, but they were  
talking about growing it on window sills to keep them out of the  
house, not planting them around standing water.
