Re: garden shows
How about the Lavender Festival in Sequim, OR...! It isn't a typical garden show but if you love lavender...this is the place. The festival involves visiting several of the farms in the area, an art fair and food and products made using lavender...yum! Bring your camera!
Texas hill country has several nice lavender farms and a smaller festival at Becker Vineyards. It is a wonderful area to visit...great restaurants, cute towns, especially Fredericksburg and Texas-style B&Bs (log or stone cottages)!
