The rose Fran mentioned is pictured on the cover of the book, "Garden Notes 
This Year" which shows up on the right side of the web page 
http://www.mackeybooks.com. Fran asked me for the ID but I don't have it.  I 
snapped the picture at Northwest Garden Nursery in Eugene, OR.

Back to Doug's post, this is a newer form of publishing, print-on-demand 
(POD). I used Amazon's POD service called Create Space for this and am 
pleased with their quality and speed.

There's more on POD in the current Quill and Trowel issue and some fellow 
list members are mentioned in the article.
