Sourest citrus fruit as Spam
Dear Dr. Parmar
Let me give you some feedback on your mailing techniques.
1) This email below wound up in an email address that is not used for any
gardening purposes but is available through GWA. To the best of my
knowledge I never asked for updates from you. That email account has never
been used for gardening purposes to the best of my knowledge. My software
identified your email as spam and put it into the spam filter box.
2) This exact same note wound up on the GWL list. This means that you're
mass emailing the same note to multiple sources - one of which is GWL and
others (like mine) in this mass mailing. Emails from you are the only GWL
emails that my gmail filters label as spam. In other words, it treats GWL
as spam when it sees your mailing address as part of the header.
This is probably a very good indicator that your email practices are causing
you more harm than good with whatever software you are using and the fact
that you are not using a double-opt-in system also speaks volumes.
Let me suggest that you update your emailing practices to conform to modern
security systems or your entire emailing will very shortly be labelled as
nothing but spam and treated accordingly. In gmail's opinion, you are
already a spammer and that's a situation that no modern business or writer
wants to find themselves.
With all the best of intentions
Doug
