Actually, I too would love to hear about this and it's garden related,  
so can't we keep it on-list? I'm in Canada and we don't have land  
grant universities as such, but one of my alma maters (plural?) (I  
went to two universities) is reinventing itself and formerly had a  
huge role in extension work. I'm really interested in how things are  
done in the US with land grant universities. And worried about  
extension roles, of course.
