Transition--A Look Back

My garden photographer friend Robin Cushman sent this to me. With all?our?talk about transition and change, and no real knowledge of where?the media future is going, sometimes it helps to look back to where our industry has come from--esp. regarding the marginalizing of women. and the number of jobs that no longer are part of journalism. Note that "gardening" is mentioned just once. I couldn't read the date at the end, but I figure this is a classroom film from the late forties--perhaps even pre-WW II?from the look of the cars.
